210 Scalable Youth Enterprises were trained and mentored under USAID Tasimuka Youth Entrepreneurship Activity which is being led by NAYO working with the Institute for Entrepreneurs Zimbabwe (IOEZ), VISET, and Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC), among others. The cohort of 210 has been receiving training, coaching, and mentorship throughout the year. The enterprises were also trained in Inclusive Busiess Leadership, Business Models, Graphic design, Marketing, Value Addition, Financial Management, and stocktaking among others. The training enhanced the capacity of 210 scalable enterprise representatives from Mutasa, Chitungwiza, and Goromonzi to integrate inclusive practices into their operations. The sessions combined virtual and in-person formats to accommodate the diverse needs and constraints of the participants. Recognizing the importance of digital tools and technologies in scaling youth-led enterprises, the enterprises were also trained on digital transformation, and responsible use of AI. The 210 youth entrepreneurs were equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively leverage digital solutions to optimize their business operations and enhance their growth potential. The sessions focused on helping the participants develop a strategic mindset in adopting and integrating digital tools into their enterprises.
